The 6th Annual Liam Barbour Charity Golf Classic will take place on Monday August 15, 2011 at Grey Silo Golf Club in Waterloo.

We are pleased to announce with great sincerity, that through kind efforts of many businesses and individual golfers, together we have donated over $55,000.00 for Hemophilia Ontario.

The money raised from this year’s tournament will be donated to Hemophilia Ontario in support for Children with bleeding disorders at Camp Wanakita.  Camp Wanakita offers youth 7-16 years of age living with a bleeding disorder in Ontario to participate in a summer residential camp program.  Participants engage in a variety of stimulating activities in a safe environment. In addition, six Hemophilia Treatment Centre nurses from across the province help supervise and guide children as young as 7 years old to learn proper self infusion techniques.  Tournament funds will help these events and be donated to purchase much needed supplies for the camp.
